Conferences & Seminars
On November 18, 2006, a group of integrated scientists gathered in Budapest at the Institute for Strategic Research Conference and created letter to the world.
THE BUDA & the PEST LETTER
The scientific members of The Unified Theories Conference, Budapest November 2006, hailing from all disciplines of science, have gathered to discuss and devise a plan to derive a greatly needed unification of sciences. Assembled in this historic city, originally split in two—which symbolically represents the fraction of our current physics theories and scientific community at large—were gathered some of the worlds best scientists in the field of unification.
After multiple days of presentations and discussions the group concluded; “In its continued quest for the building blocks of life we feel that science may be continuing to miss the bigger picture, not seeing the woods for the trees! As a result we are climbing an ever increasingly dangerous cliff face, fraught with continued global pollution, greed driven industry, economic chasms and social degradation.
The planet earth and its inhabitants are currently in a state of oblivious, dangerous and ominous flux. Moreover, these massive problems, manifested as global warming, alarming decrease in oxygen levels, increase of proliferation of infectious disease, are no longer thought to be the problem of further generations far in the future but are problems the we are facing right now and that could have serious consequences within our live time.”
We the scientific members of the Budapest Conference agree that there is a need for an integration of all sciences and that may be achieved by a recognition of both the intuitive and the analytical self, resulting in the formation of a Metatheory. The technology and scientific know how are already available and many leaders within disciplines are ready for a new Metatheory to guide the way to salvation of the Earth and all its inhabitants.
It is our contention that such a blending of nature’s diversity will facilitate a more balanced, harmonious and peaceful environment, leading to a ‘quantum leap’ forward in both technology and consciousness, which is crucial for the challenges that we face today and the future survival of our world.
A paradigm shift is needed in the formation leading us from the jagged cliffs of judgment, arrogance classification, hierarchy, repression, control and manipulation to the open savannas of acceptance, humility, expansion, equality, expression, release and facilitated freedom.
The laws of nature, both physical and biological, shall naturally be driven to a higher level of consciousness and intelligence through the direct implementation of a new holistic, scientific, philosophical, pragmatic and experientially motivated paradigm shift.
A letter such as this, written by the Hungarian physicist Leo Szilárd and signed by Albert Einstein, led the US government to initiate the Manhattan Project to construct the atomic bomb. The moment right now is similar and we offer support to a joint co-operative organization of scientists and world leaders who could offer a much brighter future.
The focus this time could be on producing a “mind expanding bomb” rather than a physically destructive one. This letter is a declaration of our commitment to the process of unification of all sciences, and as a result the development of the knowledge necessary at this time to make the changes.
Join us in this process.
Sincerely,
The Scientific Members of The Budapest Conference.
